Fall/Winter 2008 News

Our fall tennis programs are offered through the Recreation Departments in Fairfield, Wilton, Newtown, Easton, Bethel, Orange and Stratford. Classes include Pee Wees, Juniors and Adult and are taught by area pros.

• New this fall, we will be providing youth and adult clinics at Newtown Youth Sports Academy, a new indoor facility with regulation tennis courts. Clinics will begin November 17. More information to follow so check our website often!
• Youth Tennis at Sylvan Tennis Club still has a few openings. Times available include Tuesday 7:30 am- 9:00 am and Sunday 11:00 am - 12:30pm. If interested, please call 203-640-1724.
• Andy Jorgenson, friend of James Blake and former pro of Redding Country Club and Tennis Club of Trumbull, will teach adults and juniors at the Newtown Sports Academy.
• New! Tennis Central - Indoor Tennis Program in Woodbridge! Groups are forming on Tuesday evenings for adults and Sunday mornings for youth and adults. Please call 203-640-1724 for more information.
• Fairfield's Stratfield School is offering its students junior clinics starting October 14 until December 9. Students at nearby North Stratfield School in Fairfield can take part in junior clinics from November 18 through December 16.
• Indoor tennis November 12 - December 17 on Wednesdays at Chapel School in Stratford will be held for Pee Wees ages 4 & 5 (3:30 pm-4:00 pm) and Juniors ages 6-9 (4:00 pm-5:00 pm). Stratford Rec. welcomes non-residents at a nominal fee ($10 fee).
• Pee Wee and Junior clincis at Parson's Complex in Milford will be held on Fridays starting in November. Registration will not take place until Milford Rec. confirms dates. Non-residents are welcome for an additional fee.
