Scott D. Gentry

Experienced tennis instructor and longtime player/USTA league competitor who believes in fostering not just solid on-court skills but also a love for the game.

Scott has been playing tennis since childhood and coaching for Fairfield County Tennis since 2017. He teaches all levels of play from Pee Wees to adult groups, and has served as head coach for several FCT tennis camps and clinics. Believing that tennis can be a lifelong pursuit, his first priority is to ensure that his students are having fun while learning valuable skills and tactics. Scott currently competes in several local USTA adult leagues and is certified by the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

Scott currently works as Vice President of Development at the New England Air Museum. He earned an MBA from Penn State and a BA from Dartmouth College and studied in Brazil for a year as a high school foreign exchange student. Scott has also traveled to 40 U.S. states and 20 countries on 5 continents, and when he’s not playing tennis, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, skiing, and making music.
