Oleta Urda

Oleta Urda joined Fairfield County Tennis in the spring of 2015.  Oleta has been teaching tennis for 20+ years. She has taught at area clubs including New Canaan Racquet Club, New Canaan Country Club, Trumbull Indoor Tennis, Stamford Indoor Tennis and the Shore and Country Club. Oleta grew up in Connecticut and in high school was an All FCIAC and All State High School tennis player. Oleta went on to coach both junior varsity and varsity high school tennis for many years with teams that earned titles in both the Connecticut FCIAC and Connecticut State conferences. Oleta played college tennis at Providence College and earned her master’s degree in teaching from Sacred Heart University. She enjoys working with students of all levels and hopes to inspire them to develop and improve their skills as players in a fun and friendly learning environment.
