Manny Patel

While attending Purdue University, Manny Patel enrolled in several tennis classes for college credit and quickly fell in love with the game. Manny enjoys coaching youth players, and his teaching style creates a safe, relaxed, and exciting environment for children of all skill levels. Manny has found that his form of instruction also stimulates children’s growth and development and enhances their learning process. Manny has been teaching for Fairfield County Tennis for more than 5 years. He is a head coach at a summer camp in Stratford and instructs tennis courses through the parks and recreation departments of Wilton, Fairfield, Stamford, Westport, Newtown, Redding, Easton, Brookfield, and Orange. Prior to joining FTC, Manny taught for Marcy’s Tennis Academy for 8 years at schools in Trumbull, Shelton, Woodbridge, Hamden, Bethany, and Orange, and at the Easton Community Center. In his spare time, Manny competes in both singles and doubles tournaments and has won local doubles championships. He is also a team captain/organizer for several senior tennis leagues and offers private tennis lessons to adults.
